A beautiful Sunday before more rain arrives Monday
The clouds have slowly cleared out today and that will allow a cold night to settle in. Temperatures will fall into the low 30s by Sunday morning, with light breezes out of the northeast.
Sunday will be mild and sunny with highs near 60 degrees.
An area of low pressure will develop along the Gulf of Mexico and move northeast on Sunday.
Central Indiana will be on the back side of this system. Clouds will increase Sunday night with rain becoming likely by late morning on Monday. Rain could be heavy at times with some areas picking up another half inch to one inch of rain to already saturated ground. It will be a windy and raw day with temperatures only climbing into the upper 40s.
Rain will taper off early Tuesday morning. Another disturbance could bring scattered showers again by afternoon with highs in the mid 50s.
A couple of dry days will take over Wednesday and Thursday. Thursday will see the warmest day of the year thus far, with temperatures climbing into the low 70s.
Another shot at rain arrives on Friday.
