80s finally arrive for Wednesday, Thursday
80 degree warmth is here and highs will be in the 80s on Thursday, too. Expect partly cloudy skies overnight, with lows in the 60s. It will be a warm Thursday afternoon, with highs in the lower and middle 80s.
Rain and a few storms are in the Friday forecast. Right now, we are timing the steadiest rain from about noon through 9 p.m. Friday. We will keep you updated on any changes to the timing. With clouds and rain, temperatures fall back into the 70s on Friday.
Some of our latest analysis has the weather system moving far enough south for some dry weather this weekend. We will include rain chances early Saturday and a slight chance for a pop-up on Sunday. There will be lots of dry hours on Saturday and Sunday. Highs will be in the upper 70s on Saturday and near 80 on Sunday.
This weather pattern change is good news for all of the outdoor activities this weekend. We have Kids Day on Saturday from 10-2 on Monument Circle and the inaugural Grand Prix of Indianapolis at 3:50 p.m. Saturday. Mother's Day is Sunday.
