A glorious Easter Sunday is in store with abundant sunshine and temperatures climbing into the mid 70s. The wind will begin to shift out of the south today, allowing temperatures to rise ten degrees above normal.

It will be partly cloudy and mild this evening with a low in the low 50s.

A cold front will bring some rain and cooler conditions during the work week. Monday will be above normal with afternoon temperatures climbing back into the mid 70s with increasing clouds.

There is a chance of showers early Monday evening but then rain will become likely by late Monday night through Tuesday morning. A few isolated thunderstorms will be possible, although no severe storms are expected. The rain should be out of Central Indiana by 7am Tuesday morning.

Cooler air will filter in behind the cold front. Temperatures on Tuesday will only climb into the low 60s with a gradual clearing by afternoon.

A frosty start is possible Wednesday morning, with temperatures falling into the upper 30s.
