70,000 pounds of bacon spill in Illinois Amtrak crash

No one was seriously injured, but 70,000 pounds of bacon was lost in a train crash Friday in Illinois.

The crash happened near Wilmington, southwest of Chicago, when an Amtrak train split the semi carrying the bacon in two. All of the train's cars stayed on the track, but bacon spilled out of the truck onto the railway.

Passengers on the train weren't told what happened for 20 minutes, but were eventually transferred to buses to their final destination in Chicago.
