The past week has been very much like living in Florida. Daily thunderstorms in the heat and humidity that quickly play out. Look for the same type of weather today. GREG ODEN FACES FELONY CHARGE; DUE IN COURT TODAY:
NBA player Greg Oden faces a felony battery charge in connection with his arrest last week in Lawrence, and he's due in court today. The former Lawrence North basketball star, who is currently a free agent after playing with the Miami Heat, was arrested on charges that he struck his ex-girlfriend during an argument. PACERS TO TALK PAUL GEORGE RECOVERY:
Pacers President Larry Bird and Head Coach Frank Vogel are expected to talk about Paul George's recovery process at a news conference Tuesday afternoon. George suffered a terrible leg injury last week. He will also have a very different look when he returns to the team. He's changing his jersey number from 24 to 13. Learn more here.
FORUM SEEKS TO BREAK CYCLE OF INCARCERATION:
With the recent rise in crime, there is more talk about focusing on the root of the problem. That's why one organization is targeting men--particularly fathers, through a series of forums and boot camps. The Indiana Healthy Marriage and Family Coalition is hosting a fatherhood forum titled "Breaking the Cycle of Incarceration" tonight. More details about the forum here.
ACTOR, COMEDIAN ROBIN WILLIAMS FOUND DEAD AT AGE 63:
Actor and comedian Robin Williams was found dead in his home Monday morning. He was 63 years old. His death is suspected as suicide due to asphyxia, but a comprehensive investigation is underway. Hear what those close to Williams had to say.
