COOL TODAY WITH A HIGH OF 78:
We're cool today with temps in the 60s this morning and 70s as we go into lunch time. The high today is 78, although the average for this time of year is 84. There's at least a chance for isolated showers today, but we'll be for the most part dry. We might have some fog this morning. Watch Chuck's full forecast.

DETECTIVES INVESTIGATE HOMICIDE AT ROOSEVELT AND VALLEY AVENUES:
Homicide detectives and police are investigating after the discovery of a body in the street at Roosevelt Avenue and Valley Avenue, near Keystone and Rural. Police were called to the scene just before 4 a.m. and found a man lying in the street. He had several gunshot wounds and police believe him to be in his late 20s. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Read more here.

DEDICATION OF NEW GREENWOOD CITY CENTER SIGNALS NEW GROWTH:
The city of Greenwood is dedicating a new building today that represents more than just a new headquarters for city government. They hope it's a huge shot in the arm for economic development and a big boost for future growth. Watch Carrie Cline's story to learn more.

IMPD OFFICER INJURED IN SEARCH OF SUSPECT:
An IMPD officer sustained minor injuries when trying to apprehend a suspect near 82nd and Allisonville Road around 2:30 a.m. Thursday. The suspect is wanted on a felony warrant out of Putnam County. Read more here.
