EASTBOUND I-465 NEAR MADISON DOWN TO ONE LANE DUE TO SEMI CRASH:
Eastbound I-465 near Madison Avenue is down to left lane traffic only due to a semi crash this morning. The semi was carrying butter and whipped cream, which were spilled all over the road. No injuries were reported. The two lanes are expected to be closed throughout this morning's rush hour. More details here.

BEAUTIFUL MORNING, BUT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS LATER TODAY:
After the coolest July on record in Indianapolis, we begin today with a beautiful morning and a chance for thunderstorms. We'll have a similar set up Saturday with an upper low moving over central Indiana. Expect a dry start with storms flaring up around or just after midday. Watch Chuck's full forecast.

ACCIDENT INVOLVING SCHOOL BUS INJURES TWO:
One person is in serious condition after a minivan and a school bus collided this morning at Minnesota Street and Holt Road. She was transported to Eskenazi Health. The school bus driver was taken to Methodist Hospital with possible injuries. There were no children on the bus. Learn more here.

CARMEL PUSHES CAMPAIGN TO KEEP WORK-ZONE BUSINESSES AFLOAT:
If you drive down to Indianapolis from the north, chances are you've driven through the work zones in Carmel. And, chances are you've chosen an alternate route out of frustration. Businesses on U.S. 31 are also frustrated. Sunrise Reporter Kris Kirschner highlights a campaign the city of Carmel launched to help the businesses stay afloat.

INDIANA STATE FAIR STARTS TODAY:
The Indiana State Fair starts today and runs through Aug. 17. Lynyrd Skynyrd performed inside the newly renovated Indiana State Fair Coliseum Thursday night to kick off the 17-day event. Rides, food and exhibits are underway today and there's lot of new things the fair has to offer this year.
