Today, people will gather in downtown Indianapolis on this "Good Friday".. to promote peace in the city. the "way of the cross" invites people to walk in the footsteps of Jesus.. To symbolize the last hours of his life. The walk is also being used as a opportunity to speak out against the violence in the city.. And promote peace. The walk starts tonight at 6:00 PM at Michigan Street and Meridian downtown. It will then make its way around the American Legion Mall.


Lawmakers want to know if one of their fellow representatives was working for you, or looking out for his own best interests. So a House Ethics Committee will meet next Wednesday to look into whether state Representative Eric Turner violated any rules. Turner reportedly lobbied to kill a nursing home ban that could have damaged his family's business interests. The bill died in the final days of the last legislative session.


Most of your Friday will be dry, but there's a chance for a spotty shower as highs top out in the mid to upper 60s. Tonight we'll see mostly clear skies with overnight lows in the low to mid 40s. Saturday will be filled with sunshine and highs in the upper 60s. Sunday, the low 70s are back! Our next best chance of rain will move in late Monday.

Starting at 8 AM clues will be posted on the Indianapolis Downtown, Inc.'s Facebook page that will lead you to more than 40 hidden sites. At those sites there will be bottles of St. Elmo's Cocktail Sauce, along with gift certificates to concerts, attractions, restaurants, and hotels downtown. There will also be one grand prize: The Golden Egg, which will include a fun summer Downtown experience, valued at $2,000.
