VIGIL PLANNED FOR OFFICER RENN:
A vigil takes place tonight to remember IMPD officer Perry Renn. Renn was shot and killed Saturday night. The "Blue Light Prayer Vigil" takes place tonight from 7:30pm to 8:00pm at the FOP lodge at 1525 South Shelby Street. Everyone is invited to attend. NEEDING MORE OFFICERS:
Indianapolis police officials say they need money to hire more officers to fight the growing crime problems in the Circle City. The president of the FOP says hundreds of more officers need to be hired in just the next few years. Read more on how they propose the city pays for the increase in officers.

They are ruling on a pair of resolutions to determine whether the Schools Superintendent, Glenda Ritz or the Governor's appointees and staff should be making key decisions. GOVERNOR PLANNING UK TRIP:
Indiana Governor Mike Pence is preparing for a trip to the United Kingdom. Governor Pence and local community and business leaders will try to attract jobs to Indiana. He will leave on Saturday. Read more about his mission here.?
