COLD WEEK: We have a cold week ahead of us. We are in the teens right now. It only warms up to about the freezing mark today. Then we wont even reach 30 degrees the rest of the week.
COUNSELORS FOR CLASSMATES: Counselors will be available today for the classmates of four children killed in a house fire on Olney Street over the weekend. All four attended Lighthouse Charter School on the east side. Tune in to Sunrise at 6 AM to hear the 911 call that brought firefighters to that tragic scene on Saturday morning.
TEENAGER SHOT OVERNIGHT: A teenager is in the hospital after being shot on Ireland Drive on the city's northeast side. Police say the 15-year-old was walking with a group of friends when someone drove by and opened fire.
OLYMPICS WRAP UP:
Sochi has said goodbye to the Winter Olympics with a colorful closing Ceremony. The Olympic flag was handed-off to the mayor of Pyeongchang, South Korea, host of the 2018 Winter Games. Tune to Sunrise at 6:15 to see how Russia poked fun at its own Opening Ceremony mishap.
EARNHARDT WINS DAYTONA 500: Dale Earnhardt Jr. waited through a long rain delay to win the Daytona 500. That win snapped a 55 race winless streak for Earnhardt that started in 2012.
