MORE FREEZING TEMPERATURES: Today's high will be more than 20 degrees colder than normal. An even colder set up occurs tonight into Tuesday morning, when the low in Indy drops to -7. MARRIAGE AMENDMENT: The debate over the constitutional amendment to ban same sex marriage in Indiana picks back up today after a two-week break. Today there will be more testimony as a Senate committee votes on the bill. It is expected to pass this committee. Then, it goes to the Senate floor. For more on the path it has to take before the bill could be put before voters in Indiana, tune in to see Sunrise Reporter Carrie Cline's report at 6:00 AM.

IMS ANNOUNCEMENT: The Indianapolis Motor Speedway will be making a major announcement this morning at 7:00 AM. We are told it will enhance the Indy 500 weekend. Stick with Eyewitness News Sunrise, and the WTHR App. We will bring you details on the announcement as soon as we get them.

GAS PRICES RISE: Bad news for drivers this morning. Gas prices are moving higher in Indy. The average price per gallon is $3.43. That is 15 cents higher than the national average. To find the cheapest gas near you, go to the Gas Buddy section of WTHR.com. You will find it under 'Hot Topics'

SOCHI UPDATE: The United States now has two gold medals and two bronze medals, putting them third in the medal count behind Norway and The Netherlands. Both U.S. golds came in snowboarding events. The U.S. won bronze in the first ever figure skating team event, thanks in part to a strong performance by Gracie Gold.
