5 THINGS TO KNOW THIS MORNING
Get ready for a stormy morning and it's not snow we're monitoring on Live Doppler 13 Radar. A warm front moves through Central Indiana this morning, bringing us rain and a few strong thunderstorms. By noon, we'll have the front in Northern Indiana, and we'll feel the effects of the warm sector of low pressure that means rain and a line of thunderstorms, possibly with damaging winds later this afternoon. The best time for this activity is 4-9 PM. An isolated tornado is possible. Flooding is a real concern today with the rapid snow melt and some periods of heavy rain.
DAYCARE SHOOTING SUSPECT IN CUSTODY:
The man accused of shooting his estranged wife in a daycare parking lot is in jail this morning. Christopher Justice surrendered to police in Lexington, Kentucky last night. On Sunrise at 6am, reaction from his family and the family of the woman he shot several times.
Grocery and Convenience store owners are taking on liquor store owners in court today over the temperature of the beer they sell. At 6am, hear from both sides in this court battle. Why one says it's unconstitutional and the other says it's their right.
SNOW MAKE-UP DAYS:
Several school districts are adding on minutes instead of days when it comes to making up days lost to snow cancellations. At 6am we'll tell you who will be going to school as much as 40 minutes longer a day.
