Police arrested three men for their alleged involvement in a home invasion robbery of an 82-year-old Indianapolis woman.

Bobby Dunn, 36, William Tipton, 25, and Larry Whitaker, 19, all of Indianapolis, will be charged with two counts of forgery and one count each of theft and attempted theft.

Contractors working on a home in the 300 block of North Jefferson Avenue on October 28 found the woman bound to a chair in the basement of her home. The woman had duct tape wrapped around her head, including her mouth.

The woman was treated at an area hospital and is expected to recover.

This was one of a series of home invasions in the days and weeks that followed.
