2014 Memorial Day events for central Indiana

Saturday, May 24, 2014:
10:00 am - Ceremony at Brownsburg Cemetery at Grant & 56th Sts.
Noon - Parade in Cicero starts at American Legion Post 341 at 50 S. Washington Ave. and ends at Cicero Cemetery.
Sunday, May 25, 2014:
4:00 pm (runs to 3:00 pm Monday) - Civil War re-enactors at Crown Hill Cemetery (34th/Boulevard Place in Indianapolis)
Monday, May 26, 2014:
8:00 am - The Give Hope Ride presented by Fritz in Fishers is a bicycle-focused event organized to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The event is scheduled for Memorial Day, May 26, 2014, in Fishers Heritage Park, Fishers, Indiana, and will feature several adult rides of various lengths, a Kids' Bike Safety Class sponsored by Simpson Construction Services and a family ride.
The adult rides will start from Fishers Heritage Park at 8:00 AM, May 26, 2014 with on-site registration at 7:00 AM. Adult riders can ride a 10-, 25-, 39-, or 49-mile bike course charted through Fishers and the surrounding area. You must register by Sunday to participate.
9:00 am - Memorial Day Service at Hamilton Memorial Park, 4180 Westfield Rd., Noblesville
10:00 am - Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Centers will conduct a Memorial Day service on Monday, May 26, at the Hoosier Patriot Memorial on the grounds of Washington Park East, 10612 East Washington Street. Services begin at 10:00 a.m. and the public is invited to attend.
Speakers for the event will include Lt. Governor Sue Ellspermann, Honorable Gregory A. Ballard, Mayor of Indianapolis, and Major General R. Martin Umbarger, the Adjutant General of Indiana.
10:30 am - Indianapolis Municipal Band plays patriotic songs at Veterans Memorial Plaza, Raymong Park Middle School, 8575 E. Raymond.
11:00 am - Ceremony at Courthouse Square in Franklin
11:40 am - Ceremony at Carmel Cemetery, 136th/Rangle Line Rd.
1:00 pm - Ceremony at Acton Cemetery, 7800 Acton Rd.
1:30 pm - Concert at Crown Hill Cemetery Gothic Chapel. Includes Gov. Mike Pence.
