2 people shot early Saturday on northeast side

Indianapolis Metro Police say two shooting victims showed up at Community East early Saturday morning.  Police say the victims were involved in a shooting in the area of 30th Street and Dearborn Street just before 5 a.m.

Police are still trying to sort out the details but say it began when a woman called 9-1-1 saying that someone was shooting at her vehicle. The shots hit 20-year-old Laquan Allen and 26-year-old Lavon Bailey. Both were taken to the hospital where, at last check, they were both listed in stable condition.

The initial investigation indicates several people may have been shooting at each other in the area of 30th Street & Dearborn Street.
