Metro police say a 14-year-old was roughed-up and robbed on his way home from school Tuesday.

It happened just after 5:00 p.m. on Robertson Boulevard. That's near Guion Road and I-65 on Indy's northwest side.

The teen's mother told investigators her son was attacked when he got off his school bus. Three men armed with a gun knocked the boy to the ground, according to police. They punched and kicked him several times before stealing his $200 pair of headphones.

No arrests have been made but police believe at least one of the suspects lives in the same neighborhood or attends the same school as the victim.
