Luxury Home-A-Rama Features Exquisite Design

At this year's Luxury Home-A-Rama you might be tempted to come for the exquisite craftsmanship and inspired interior design of five luxury, custom homes, but make plans to stay for all the fun extra features planned for show attendees.

Make a check list to also tour the exhibit center and visit with home design and improvement professionals about landscaping, countertops, and high end home audio-video. Enter to win a $20,000 kitchen makeover offered by Best Cabinets and Century Marble/Centura Solid Surfaces. After touring the homes and talking to the builders about your dream home, vote for your favorite home to win the coveted People's Choice award. Finally, step into comfort and test drive a luxurious automobile courtesy of Lockhart Cadillac/Hummer.

The 2008 Luxury Home-A-Rama presented by M&I Bank opens Saturday, September 20 at The Willows in Zionsville. The show runs through October 5. The show is hosted by the Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis (BAGI) and once again Lockhart Cadillac/Hummer is the show auto sponsor. Continuing a long tradition of support, a portion of the proceeds from Home-A-Rama benefits the Indiana Ronald McDonald House.

"We are proud of our long standing relationship with BAGI and are excited to include Home-A-Rama in the list of community events that we support," comments Noel Watts, VP Mortgage Banking for M&I Bank. "We are dedicated to supporting central Indiana home builders and realtors in this tough economic environment."

The Willows in Zionsville is east of Michigan Road (US 421) on 146th Street (300S). A former polo field and tree farm developed by San Bel Development, the community has five distinct neighborhoods nestled among rolling hills and wooded lanes. The five show homes are all within the Estates.

Luxury Home-A-Rama 2008 highlights newly-constructed, fully-decorated, landscaped custom homes from five association builders: Castalia Homes, Executive Homes, Heartwood Custom Homes, Henderson Homes and Phil Myers Custom Homes.

Special events planned during Home-A-Rama include cooking demonstrations by Clark Appliance and Zionsville-area restaurants, live music on Friday evenings, Ladies Nights highlighting the boutiques and unique shops who are members of the Zionsville Merchants Association, and charity fundraisers benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Indiana Neighborhood Housing Partnership and the Ronald McDonald House of Central Indiana. All of these special event details are online at
