Bloomington - Indiana University's new president began his term Monday with lunch in Bloomington. Michael McRobbie ate with a group of IU summer school students at the Indiana Memorial Union Commons.
McRobbie says it's important to let students know how important they are to the university. "We're about education and research, and as I said to the students, the students are the future of the university. It's not about administrators like me, and if they succeed, we succeed."
McRobbie replaces outgoing IU President Adam Herbert.
