Police: Man in car chase was eating crack cocaine

Indianapolis - Metro police say a man who led officers on a brief car chase Monday morning was eating crack cocaine as he drove.

Police arrested a suspect near 30th and Dr. Andrew J. Brown.

Authorities say they began chasing after the driver blew through a red light. He stopped after a short chase. Police say they found marijuana and crack cocaine in his car - and some of the crack in his mouth.
