Marion County Jail guard fired

Indianapolis - A jail guard accused of trying to smuggle cigarettes and marijuana into the Marion County jail on Christmas Eve says she was set up.

Tacaria Eskew has been fired from her job.

She was arrested Sunday after supervisors at the jail told police a package containing 20 cigarettes and two small bags of marijuana, hidden inside containers of food, was delivered to Eskew.

Eskew told our partners at the Indianapolis Star that the food was sent to her. She also says she didn't order it and had no idea who sent it.
