Indianapolis - The Indianapolis Colts have placed sixth-year veteran quarterback Jim Sorgi on Injured Reserve with a shoulder injury and signed fourth-year veteran offensive tackle Michael Toudouze, the club announced Wednesday.
Sorgi, who appeared in one game in 2009, had been inactive/3rd Quarterback since Week 9 vs. New England.
Toudouze originally was a 2006 fifth-round selection out of TCU by the Colts and spent time between the practice squad and active roster during his three years with the club. Toudouze appeared in four games in 2007 and one post-season game in 2008.
The club also made two moves on its practice squad, signing quarterback Drew Willy and waiving quarterback Shane Boyd. Willy, a rookie out of Buffalo, originally signed as a free agent with Baltimore.
