Marion County - A word of caution as it's the season of giving and for some, taking. A Carmel woman says she was the victim of an attempted mugging in the HH Gregg parking lot off 96th Street.
"Two men came up without their lights on, one jumped out of the car to grab the purse I had over my shoulder and I screamed for help," said Dorothy Green.
She says the men took off without her purse. She was a bit shaken but unhurt.
Police remind women to keep their purses close to them and tell men not to put their wallets in their back pockets.
