Man injured in Indianapolis stabbing

Indianapolis - Metro police are investigating a stabbing that happened Thursday morning just before 8:00 am in Indianapolis.

Investigators say police arrived at the home in the 1400 block of South Oxford Street, near Terrace and Cottage Avenue, and found a man with a stab wound to the stomach.

The victim, whose name is not yet being released, was taken to Wishard hospital and underwent surgery. He's in serious condition.

Police have not made any arrests in the case and continue to investigate.
