Indianapolis mayor's chief of staff resigns

Updated:

Indianapolis - Mayor Greg Ballard's chief of staff is stepping down. Paul Okeson resigned to take a job with Keystone Construction.

On the job two years, Okeson says it's been a great ride, but he's leaving for personal reasons.

"It's tough to do these jobs, the demand of time and challenge to your finances - we did it as long as we could and he was very gracious of supporting my decision," said Okeson.

Corporation Counsel Chris Cotterill will take over as chief of staff. The mayor's office says they'll announce more changes Tuesday.
