Madison County - Two additional H1N1 vaccination clinics have been scheduled in Madison County for priority populations.
December 5, Saturday, 10 am to 2 pm at Pendleton Heights High School
and
December 10, Thursday, 4 pm to 8 pm at Mounds Mall in Anderson
These clinics will be walk-in clinics designed to reach the following risk groups:
Women who are pregnant
Household contacts / caregivers of those younger than 6 months old
Infants and children 6 months to 24 years of age
Healthcare / Emergency care workers
Individuals 25 years old and older with pre-existing, chronic medical conditions
MCHD is encouraging those who specifically fall into these target groups to attend. It will be extremely important to cover coughs and keep a healthy distance from others who are sneezing or coughing while waiting in line for the vaccine.
We appreciate your help in this effort. Washing hands frequently, getting plenty of rest, staying home when you are ill, and avoiding others who are sick you really can help reduce the spread of this virus.
The Madison County Health Department staff is available to answer questions regarding H1N1 Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm. 765-641-9523 or 765-646-9206.
