There is a booking war over who will be the first national journalist or talk show host to interview Marcus Schrenker.

He is the former money manager from Hamilton County who pled guilty to trying to fake his own death by crashing his plane in a Florida swamp.

NBC's Dateline profiled his story in May but now it appears that Larry King and Oprah Winfrey are trying to book Schrenker.

A federal judge sentenced him in August to four years in prison for the crash. He goes on trial in March in Indiana on charges that he bilked clients out of millions of dollars.
