Noblesville home destroyed by fire

Noblesville - Fire crews responded to a house fire in Noblesville Thursday.

It happened at 146th Street and Prairie Baptist Road. When firefighters arrived, the home was engulfed in flames.

Views from Chopper 13 show the roof destroyed and the interior of the home visible from the air. Crews put water on the fire from several angles. It took about an hour and a half to get the fire under control.

The contents of the home appeared to be destroyed. Only the exterior walls remained standing.

In addition to the Noblesville Fire Department, Lapel Fire, Fortville Fire, Fishers Fire and White River Township Fire Departments responded. No injuries were reported.

According to the fire department, George Lotter owns the home. They got in touch with his son who confirmed the information.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
