Kokomo police searching for woman's attacker

Kokomo - Police are searching for a man who attacked a woman in her car. They say a 19-year-old told them she had just left work in her car around 10pm Monday when a man sat up in her back seat armed with a knife.

He forced the woman into the passenger seat and drove to a country road where he sexually assaulted her. The victim said the man suddenly ran away when he saw an oncoming car.

Police say the victim suffered injuries to her face and arm, but didn't require medical treatment.
